Employment Assistance
We contract with ACCES-VR (Adult Career & Continuing Education Services-Vocational Rehabilitation). Their goal is to assist individuals with disabilities achieve and maintain employment and to support independent living.
We participate in the Ticket to Work Program which is an employment program for people with SSA disability benefits who are 18 – 64 years old, interested in financial independence, and who have a “ticket” available for assignment. If you give that “ticket” to FLIC, we can:
- Help you secure employment that can help you reach your occupational and financial goals
- Offer career counseling
- Offer job search support
- Advise you on your Social Security work incentives
- Offer you financial wellness resources
- Provide you with long-term support in these endeavors
Assigning your “ticket” is voluntary and there is no fee or risk involved.
